Meet Gaia

Gaia is the company that is in charge of the production of Gpal DIY kit, customer service, ambassador program, and running school-related events. The mission for gaia is to use food waste to improve lives around the world.

What's in gpal box

Composter Modular Parts

Food Input | Liquid Output | Gas Valve. A set of DIY parts to build the main body of your unique composter.

Methane Bag

The bag houses all the methane gas generated from your composter. The bag comes in various sizes, and the standard size allows cooking for 1 hour.

Gas Stove

A cooking gas stove. By simply connecting the nob with the methane bag output, you will have a cooking source!

Gas Light

A portable gaslight. By simply connecting the nob with the methane bag output, you will have a light source!

Set up step 1
Before you start

Now, there are some items you need to source locally with your friends! The reason we didn’t include these items is that they are easily found items and we encourage sourcing out reused items. This also minimizes the cost of the kit so that we can reach a wider audience!

A sealed bucket

The main composter could be the various size of drum or even a used sealed bottle!

A liquid container

This is for holding the compost tea - a well-balanced and nutrient-rich fertilizer.

Detail Feature

Gpal is carefully designed so that you could reuse the parts when you want to resize your composter

Consumable Packaging

Gpal set of components would be provided in a box that could eventually be disposed of in the biodigester to produce methane right alongside the food waste.

Pamphlet

A pamphlet is included for guiding the setup procedure 🙂 The back of the pamphlet is also a Gpal poster that could be used as marketing material.

Materials

Gaia chose materials that are sustainable and durable to make the product long-lasting. In addition, we strive to make all parts 3D printable so, in the future, we can produce it locally and reduce global transportation waste.
